About 67 percent of those responding to this week’s online poll thought that the personal use of drones should be regulated.
Roughly 21 percent thought regulations weren’t needed, and 12.1 percent weren’t sure.
Here were some of the comments.

“And regulate the use of police and government drones: New violations of people’s privacy are getting easier and easier. Someone has to be held accountable.”
——
“Drones should only be allowed for law inforcement agencies.”
——
“I think existing ‘right to privacy’ laws and rules about evidence collection should be inclusive of personal drones. I hope people shooting at them doesn’t become a problem.”
——
“Keep your surveillance outta my airspace!
——
“Only to prevent collision with manned aircraft.”
——
“The intrusion into our lives must stop. Under the guise of “security” we are giving up all rights to privacy, be it at the airport, in a store, walking down a street and, now, a camera buzzing around our homes. If I want security I will start packing my sidearm again.”
